East & West Educational Society is a civil society's initiative for ensuring quality education of all children. Another major area of activity is broader, that is, rights of children, which of course, includes health & education. The collective endeavor began in 1987 with experimentation in school education and some other activities including a successful pre-examination guidance centre.
The members of the society belong to different professions, from academics legal profession, bureaucracy social and cultural activists. Over the years if the work of the Society has broadened, its social commitments have gone deeper. Apart from education and child rights the Society works in areas like environment education, rural education, advocacy programmes relating to education and child, rural development and women empowerment..... |
