What does CHILDLINE do?

• Responds to children in emergencies and facilitates their long term rehabilitation.
• Involves children in the intervention process and assists them in formulating a solution
• Collaborates with existing community organizations in caring for the community
• Sensitizes, trains and collaborates with the allied systems such as the police, hospitals,  railways, transport, municipal corporation, social welfare organizations, educational institution, media and others.
• Documents the process of CHILDLINE and conducts research on relevant issues.
• Advocates for changes in law and policy relating to children’s issues
• Network nationally and internationally to evolve a comprehensive child protection strategy.
